PRESCHOOL IN BUILDING BLURB (TK/ECEAP)

Did you know Harbor Heights has a free preschool programs?  We offer a full-day ECEAP program and  Transitional Kindergarten (TK) here at our school! 

ECEAP (Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program) is a wide-ranging preschool program that provides free services and support to eligible children and their families. ECEAP is a full day program (9 a.m. to -3:30 p.m.), Monday through Thursday, and follows the PSD school calendar.  To be considered for the program all families must submit an application and eligibility documents, submitting documents does not guarantee acceptance into the program. If you're unsure if you qualify, please fill out the Early Learning Survey to connect with ECEAP staff.

TK is a program for children who do not have access to high-quality early learning experiences before kindergarten. TK is a 5-days-a-week, full-day (9 a.m. to -3:30 p.m.) program that follows the PSD school calendar. Children must be; 

• 5 years old between September 1st and August 31st the year before Kindergarten;

• Not currently participating  in another preschool program;

• Resides within the Peninsula School District boundaries; and 

• Have an identified need (based on screening process).  

TK screening begins in June the next school year,  2023-2024.

Both programs are free to Peninsula School District residents. We offer more preschool programs at other sites. To make enrollment easier for families, parents can submit an Early Learning Interest Survey  to help us match you to the program that best fits your child’s and family's needs.
