Back-to-school is approaching quickly! Our teachers and staff are very excited to see happy faces on the first day of school.
This year, the Peninsula School District is providing all the basic school supplies for our students in grades K-5. School supply lists are available for grades 6-12 on each school’s website.
The first day of school for grades 1-12 is Wednesday, Aug. 31. There is no school on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5. The first day of Kindergarten begins on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

We understand that many families need before or after school care for their child during the week, which is why PSD has worked to create many options for families in the 2022-2023 school year.
On-site child care is available for our elementary families and is provided by three partner programs.

As the school year closes, we are already looking forward to welcoming students for the next school year! Peninsula School District will be in-person, full-time with optional mask choice and no required COVID-19 immunizations.
The 2022-2023 school year starts Wednesday, August 31, for students in grades 1-12. Kindergarten students start on Tuesday, September 6.
Families of new and formerly enrolled students are encouraged to learn more and register online for fall today.

Today during a press conference, Governor Inslee announced the statewide mandate will lift at 11:59 p.m. on March 11.
This means that beginning Saturday, March 12, barring a new requirement from our local health department, masks will become optional in our school buildings and on school buses.
